Refund Policy

This page explains when and how Consent Leads refunds money. We aim to keep this short, plain, and predictable.

Lite (monthly subscription, £49/month)

Cancel any time, no notice required. Cancelling stops future charges immediately. The current month is not pro-rated: you keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and we do not refund the partial month.

If your reply system was never live in the billing period (for example, the Instagram connection failed and we could not resolve it within 7 days), email [email protected] and we will refund that month in full within 14 days.

Concierge and Founding tiers (setup fee + monthly retainer)

Setup fee (typically £800 or £1,500):

  • Before kick-off call: 100% refund within 7 days of payment, no questions asked.
  • After kick-off call, before delivery: 50% refund up to 14 days from payment, recognising that scoping and discovery work has started.
  • After delivery (system shipped and accepted): setup fees are non-refundable. The build is yours to keep regardless of whether you continue the monthly retainer.

Monthly retainer: cancel any time with 30 days' notice. The 30-day notice period is to ensure handover of any client-facing automations runs cleanly. We do not pro-rate the final month.

Bespoke or freelance engagements (one-off projects)

Bespoke project work follows the deposit policy stated in your individual proposal, typically 50% on signature and 50% on delivery. Refunds on bespoke work are handled per the terms in that proposal, not this page.

Test purchases and accidental charges

If you were charged in error (duplicate payment, wrong amount, test transaction that processed), email [email protected] with the Stripe receipt and we will refund within 3 working days.

Chargebacks

If you are unhappy with our service, please email us first. We answer every email within 24 hours, usually faster. Initiating a chargeback before contacting us makes resolution slower for both sides and may end the working relationship.

How refunds are issued

Refunds return to the original payment method via Stripe. Bank-side processing typically takes 5 to 10 working days after we issue the refund.

Statutory rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law. UK consumers buying services online have a 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, unless you have explicitly agreed that service delivery may begin during that period and acknowledged that you will lose the right to cancel once delivery has started. Where applicable, this right is honoured in addition to anything stated above.
