We rebuilt a London locksmith's local presence in 30 days.
Mr Unlocks is a 24/7 mobile auto locksmith covering South East London and Kent. Strong service, a clean 5.0 on Google, but the online setup was quietly holding the phone back: duplicate area pages, scrambled URLs, an under-built Google profile. Here is exactly what we did in month one, in the open.
The foundation, built and verified live.
Google Business Profile, rebuilt
Six services added with local keyword descriptions, 24/7 hours set, categories corrected, every one of the 13 reviews replied to, a fresh post with a Call button, and real job photos and video uploaded.
Technical foundation fixed
A LocalBusiness and Locksmith schema built and validated, set to 24/7 across all 45 service areas. The code that tells Google exactly who they are and where they work.
Every page optimised
Keyword-led titles, unique meta descriptions and focus keywords across all 28 pages of the site.
18 unique area pages
The town pages were duplicates of each other, which Google holds back. We rewrote all 18 as genuinely unique, locally-relevant content so each one earns its own ranking.
Clean URLs and redirects
Every page moved to a clean address, for example /auto-locksmith-welling, with redirects in place so none of the existing Google history was lost in the move.
Run on a monthly retainer
Month one built the foundation. The ongoing work is rank tracking, fresh content, review generation and a clear report every month, so the owner always sees what the spend is doing.
Local SEO compounds. It does not switch on overnight.
We will not show you fake numbers. The work above went live in May 2026. Here is the realistic timeline we set with the client, and what we are watching.
The call and ranking numbers go here once the data is in, not before. That is the deal: we build the foundation properly, then we publish the results when they are real.
